Items and Abilities Explained

We’ll explain below the different function of all the items you’ll get, and how you can use them as effectively as possible in gameplay.

Fluffruit

Throw them near Pokémon to lure them out and get them to eat for a higher-ranked shot. It doesn’t always work, but sometimes it can help to throw them into dens, caves or burrowed holes.

Illumina Orbs

Throwing them at Pokémon can prompt the Illumina condition for a better photo. You can also throw them at Crystabloom flowers.

Melody Player

This is used to wake up Pokémon from sleep or sometimes make them dance. Best used on resting or placid Pokémon to get a reaction out of them.

Neo-ONE Turbo

A booster for the NEO-One used to increase your speed through a route. Basically used if you’re trying to get a certain picture but don’t want to spend too long at a location otherwise.
