In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players get to experience a transformed version of the traditional Pokémon formula. While traversing the vast and open region of Hisui, players must counter new Hisuian variants of 'mons, as well as frenzied and enraged ones. This is all while experiencing fewer menus, no gyms, and some changes to evolution.
Instead, players must study Pokémon and complete their Pokédex to aid the Galaxy Expedition Team. There's rideable Pokémon to help with traversing the region, as well as crafting and the Gingko Guild replacing Poké Marts.

How to Get Evolution Stones and Items
All evolution stones and items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus can be purchased from the Trade Post in Jubilife Village. Here, there is an NPC watching over the Trade Post called Simona.
When you speak with her, tell her that 'I want to get items' and she will show you everything she has for sale. These items must be bought with Merit Points, which, luckily enough, are easy to get.
Additionally, you may find that you'll acquire some evolution items from catching Pokémon, or from their drops when defeating them in battle. Don't forget to put these into item storage for later, in case you faint!
How to Get Merit Points
Items bought from the Trade Post in Jubilife Village can be purchased using Merit Points. Merit Points can be earned through a brand new game mechanic in Pokémon Legends: Arceus known as 'Lost and Found'.
If you remain connected to the internet during your game, you will regularly find the lost Satchels of other players lying around. Collect these lost Satchels and open your Communications menu. By selecting the Lost and Found option in the menu, you'll be able to claim your Merit Points and these can then be spent at the Trade Post!
