With over a month before launch, Nintendo's released a new Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer, outlining some of the new characters we'll meet in the Hisui Region. Focusing on reigning clans and merchants, these characters could be central to this upcoming story.
Given Hisui eventually gets renamed to the Sinnoh region, it's unsurprising to see the Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan are major figures that the players will encounter. We'll be meeting the clan's leaders - Adaman of the Diamond Clan and Irida from the Pearl Clan - alongside their subordinates, such as Diamond Clan's Arezu and Pearl Clan's Lian.

Both clans are said to pay high respects to some Noble Pokémon, meaning they could be linked to two of Sinnoh's major legendary Pokémon, Dialga and Palkia, whole rule over time and space respectively.
Lastly, players can expect to meet some Ginkgo Guild Merchants, who supply players with various berries and plants. It's an interesting outline but for now, we'll have to wait for more information to see how their roles affect Arceus' story. We'll keep you informed when we learn more.
