Pokemon Go Community Day: How To Catch A Shiny Seedot, Nuzleaf And Shiftry

Pokemon Go's latest community day will feature the acorn Pokemon Seedot.

Seedot, is a grass type Pokemon that debuted in Ruby and Sapphire as part of Gen 3 on the Game Boy Advance.

The community day will see players have a higher chance of encountering a shiny Seedot.

How To Catch Shiny Seedot

During the event, taking place on the 24th May between 11am-5pm, you will encounter more Seedots in the wild.

In order to increase your chances of catching one, you will need to catch as many Seedots as possible.

Simply keep capturing any and all Seedots you see until one appears. The Seedot will not appear shiny on the game until you enter a battle with it.

Traditionally, we recommend that you have lots of lures, find somewhere with lots of Pokestops and walk a lot. But due to the COVID-19 crisis, this isn't entirely possible. Please be responsible during this time and only go outside if it is necessary.
