Spritzee was added to Pokemon GO this week during the Luminous Legends X event. Including Swirlix and Xerneas, there have been three brand new Fairy-type Pokemon added to the game.
Of those new Pokemon, two of them can be evolved in Pokemon GO, which includes Spritzee. Like any Pokemon though, the first step to evolving a Spritzee is getting enough candy. In total, players will need to acquire 50 Spritzee candy before they can evolve it into an Aromatisse. That's roughly 16 Spritzee catches without any transfers or without using a Pinap berry.
Once players have enough candy, they should make sure the Spritzee they want to evolve has some decent stats. It's not required, but it's an option while the Luminous Legends X event is still running.
Make Spritzee a buddy in Pokemon GO in order to evolve it
Players need to go to the Spritzee that they want to evolve in Pokemon GO, and they need to make it their buddy. To do that, players simply need to tap the buddy icon next to the player avatar on the bottom left of the screen. From there, scroll down and select the swap buddy option. Spritzee can then be selected, and buddies can be swapped 20 times per day.
With Spritzee chosen as a buddy, the next step is to use an incense item. Players can then evolve Spritzee into an Aromatisse by spending the 50 candy and tapping the evolve button.
When players initially catch Spritzee, some text under the evolve button will say players need to adventure with the Pokemon to evolve it into an Aromatisse. It's vague, but these steps will allow players to get their first Aromatisse in Pokemon GO.
