Pokémon GO events are coming thick and fast and if the Halloween bonuses weren't enough for you, the Día de Muertos event that kicks off November will give you one last chance to capture some spooky monsters.

Día de Muertos is a South and Central American tradition in which people celebrate the spirits of the dead returning to earth for one day. It's often paralleled with Halloween, but the two are very different holidays, admittedly celebrated at the same time of year.

The Pokémon GO Día de Muertos event is available for players all around the world, but players in Latin America and the Caribbean get a couple of extra bonuses.

Pokémon GO Día de Muertos Event Start Date

The Pokémon GO Día de Muertos event starts on Monday, November 1 at 10:00 and ends on Tuesday, November 2 at 20:00 local time. This means that all the event bonuses include GO Battle Day and the first Spotlight Hour of November.

Pokémon GO Día de Muertos Event Bonuses

The following bonuses will be active for all players across the world:

• Lure Modules will last for 90 minutes
• Incense will last for 90 minutes
• 2x Catch Stardust

The following bonuses will be active for players in Latin America and the Caribbean:

• +1 bonus Transfer Candy
• Featured event Pokémon will be appearing even more often in the wild
• Featured event Pokémon will be attracted even more frequently to Incense
• Featured event Pokémon will be attracted even more frequently to Lure Modules

There will also be a Collection Challenge for the event, which will reward a Shedinja encounter, Poffin and Incense upon completion.
