Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Eterna City Gym: How to Beat and Rematch Gardenia

During your time playing Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you'll have to face eight gyms, the Elite Four, and the Champion before you can become the Sinnoh Champion yourself. After this, all eight gyms will be available for a rematch, too! The second of the gyms is Eterna City, which has Gardenia, a master of grass-types, as its leader.

How To Beat Eterna City Gym and Gardenia

First and foremost, you'll need to solve the Eterna City Gym puzzle in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl before you can battle Gardenia. This puzzle is a rather simple one, and requires you to locate four Pokémon Trainers hiding amongst the forest in the gym. Pictured above, we have shown the location of all four Trainers; if you can't see the trainer, our player is facing their position. Simply walk to that area and press A, then let the battle commence!

Once all four Trainers have been successfully beaten, Gardenia will appear. Here are the three Pokémon she throws at you, their type, approximate level, and weaknesses:

How To Rematch Eterna City Gym and Gardenia

After defeating the Elite Four and Cynthia in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you'll be crowned the Sinnoh Champion. You will then be able to return to each gym across the Sinnoh Region and rematch all leaders.
