Phasmophobia Camera - How To Place The Camera And Record Ghosts
Where To Find The Camera
The camera is in the van that you start each investigation in, usually on the shelves or the desk.
Press E to pick it up, or X/Square on the controller.
How To Place The Camera
With the camera in hand, you'll be able to place it so that it faces in the same direction that you are.
This can be a little finicky, but you'll see an indicator showing where it can be placed, and then can left-click or press A/X to rotate it.
Switch it on with right-click or RT/R2 - if you don't, you won't be able to record anything.
Finally, press F (or LT/L2) to place it.
How To Record
Once placed, positioned, and turned on, you need to trigger the camera using right-click, RT or R2.
This will begin recording, and you can watch the footage in real time from the van where you began the level.
You'll also be able to toggle night vision on.
