Will Going Medieval Come To PS4 or Xbox?

Going Medieval hits Early Access on June 1st, meaning we're just days away from constructing our dream castle on PC, but as yet there's no word on PS4 or Xbox releases.

That's partially due to the PC version still being under construction.

“We've worked on Going Medieval for some time already and, while we feel that it's playable and fun (even in its current version), there are still advanced mechanics and systems missing for it to become a fully-rounded experience," Foxy Voxel explains on the game's Steam page.

"By offering the game to a larger audience before its completion, we can receive essential feedback to help us balance out the experience and make the final game the best it can possibly be.”

The team expects the game to be in Early Access for at least a year, and while we have seen games in early access come to console before, it sounds as though the team is fully focused on the PC version for now.

Still, if anything changes, we'll let you know.
