The debut game from developer Foxy Voxel, Going Medieval is getting people quite abuzz on Steam.
A mix of city-builder and colony sim, players are tasked with building their own dream fortress, keeping their people safe, and defending the walls from would-be invaders and harsh weather.
Here's everything we know about the game.
Going Medieval Release Date
Going Medieval hits Early Access on June 1st, meaning we're just days away from constructing our dream castle.
Why Early Access?
According to the game's Steam page, here's what Foxy Voxel had to say:
“We've worked on Going Medieval for some time already and, while we feel that it's playable and fun (even in its current version), there are still advanced mechanics and systems missing for it to become a fully-rounded experience. By offering the game to a larger audience before its completion, we can receive essential feedback to help us balance out the experience and make the final game the best it can possibly be.”
The team expects the game to be in Early Access for at least a year.
