Epic Games Store Is Planning A Loyalty Program, Includes Rocket League And Fortnite Rewards
As spotted by known Fortnite news leaker iFireMonkey, this planned update wouldn't impact players on other PC platforms like Steam - which would only affect Rocket League players, granted - but aims to reward those using the Epic Games Store version for both.
Furthermore, that document also advises planned "incremental tie-in content" given away on the Epic Games Store would be sold on console platforms, though the wording implies this would be a paid microtransaction to offset costs. This remains unconfirmed by Epic, but we'll keep you updated if/when this happens.
