New Skins List For Summer Games 2021

So far Blizzard has only officially revealed 3 new skins. One has been shown and named for Summetra, but there's also another two for Ashe and Mei, both shown in the trailer.

However, the teaser for the Summer Games event also technically 'reveals' a further number of new skins thanks to a postcard at the end of the trailer.

Here's a rundown of the characters set to receive a new skin in the Summer Games 2021 event:

  • Mermaid Symmetra
  • New Ashe skin
  • New Mei Skin
  • New Sigma Skin
  • New Winston Skin
  • New Pharah Skin
  • New Orisa Skin

Intriguingly, Echo appears to be missing entirely from the trailer, including the postcard, so we're going to suggest she too might have a new skin, but that's a guess/hunch.

What Are The New Overwatch Summer Games 2021 Skins?

At the time of writing Blizzard has yet to reveal any of the new skins for the upcoming event. We're still a little far out.

Also, in the past two years, the developer has made a bigger effort towards holding back on the new skins until much closer to an events start time.

It used to be that new skins would leak on Reddit and other social platforms well ahead of time.

Nowadays skins are typically revealed one at a time on the official Twitter & Facebook channels in the days leading up to the event starting.

Who Will Get A New Summer Games 2021 Skin?

As with any Overwatch event, the games previous skins will also be available to buy at a knockdown price.

But fans will of course be keener to pick up any new skins added to the game. At the time of writing, there are 7 characters who don't have a single Summer Games event skin: including Ashe, Baptiste, Symmetra and Sigma.

Could they be next in line? It's hard to say, but for now, we can applaud some rather splendid skin designs by the community, as shared by notable Overwatch fountain of knowledge, OverwatchNaeri.
