Outriders DLC Roadmap: 'Significant Expansions With Self-Contained Stories'

Outriders is a brand new game from developers Square Enix. 

Fans of this new title are loving the story, but will shortly turn to post-launch DLC for more content.

Base Game Content

The base game itself has a large focus on story content alongside the grind for better loot and gear. 

This has us excited to see what Square Enix have planned for their future DLC content.

They have already mentioned that Outriders will have its own DLC, with 'Significant Expansions With Self-Contained Stories'.

DLC Roadmap

There is currently no DLC roadmap for Outriders as the game will not work as a 'games-as-a-service' model. 

However, the developers have shared their interst in curating more stories that they couldn't fit in the base version of the game. 

With no DLC planned, it tells us content hasn't been cut from the base version of the game to facilitate the extra content.

Developers have admitted to doing this with other games, so its nice to know we're getting a full package with Outriders.

Release Date

As mentioned before, there's no plan for any expansions in Outriders at the moment.

However, we usually see the first DLC for an RPG release with the first 3-4 months. If any DLC is releasing, it will likely be within this time period.
