Here's Everything You Need to Know About Crunchyroll's New Game 'Mitrasphere'

Mitrasphere is a 2017 mobile JRPG for iOS and Android being localized and published in the West by Crunchyroll in 2021. It promises a semi-traditional JRPG battle system intertwined with gatcha elements, high-fantasy anime art style, and extensive co-op play. What is Mitrasphere?

Mitrasphere is a mobile JRPG gatcha title set two worlds "straddling the ocean sky from below and above."

An enormous tree above rains golden crystals on the lands below, changing the lives of its denizens; either granting them a rich life or intense suffering.

You take control of countless characters fated to the latter, who've decided to take their future into their own hands.

Mitrasphere UK and Worldwide Release Date

Pre-registrations for the Mitrasphere UK release went live a few months ago and just hit 100,000. Yet a release date was never set in stone.

Although the Apple App Store set a preliminary release for later in the year, a countdown on the official Twitter page has revealed that Mitrasphere will release on June 29, 2021.

Mitrasphere Gameplay

Mitrasphere uses team building, gatcha, and traditional JRPG battle mechanics to weave together its narrative.

You'll scout for additional team members to level up and boost your team, issue attack and skill orders from an eight-slot action bar to deal damage to waves of enemies, and dynamically adjust your unit's formation to reduce incoming damage.

Your default character can freely change between one of five classes to suit the battle ahead.

Is Mitrasphere Multiplayer?

Yes! Mitrasphere is built to enable seamless co-op play. We won't know exactly how easy this is to instigate until the game launches and the servers fill up, but it sounds as if players will be able to jump in freely in the middle of battle.
