Pokemon GO A Seven Colored Shadow Tasks and Rewards

The latest round of Pokemon GO Rocket Special Research goes live June 17 and gives you a chance at obtaining and purifying a Shadow Ho-Oh, among other things.

As usual with these requests, there are several tasks to complete before you can challenge the Rocket Boss, and each comes with its own set of rewards.

The new Rocket Special Research is called A Seven Colored Shadow, and you’ll have to finish The Higher They Fly research tasks to start this one.

A Seven Colored Shadow Stage 1 Tasks and Rewards

Tasks

• Catch 10 Pokémon (Teddiursa)
• Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms (Sun Stone)
• Purify 1 Shadow Pokémon (15 PokeBalls)

Rewards

• 500 XP
• 500 Stardust
• Gloom

A Seven Colored Shadow Stage 2 Tasks and Rewards

Tasks

• Defeat 5 Team GO Rocket Grunts (5 Hyper Potion)
• Catch 5 Shadow Pokémon (5 Revive)
• Purify 3 Shadow Pokémon (15 PokeBalls)

Rewards

• 2,000 XP
• 500 Stardust
• Xatu

A Seven Colored Shadow Stage 3 Tasks and Rewards

Tasks

• Use 3 Supereffective Charged Attacks in Gym Battles (Fast TM)
• Battle another Trainer in the Great League (Charged TM)
• Purify 5 Shadow Pokémon (15 Ultra Ball)

Rewards

• 2,500 XP
• 1,000 Stardust
• Rocket Radar

A Seven Colored Shadow Stage 4 Tasks and Rewards

You'll face off against the three GO Rocket Leaders for this task, and we've got their up-to-date teams plus the best strategies for defeating each one.

• Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader Cliff (Vaporeon)
• Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader Sierra (Jolteon)

• 1,000 Stardust

Stage 6 has no tasks and is just rewards.
