An upcoming F2P gatcha JRPG from Crunchyroll Games has logged 100,000 pre-orders ahead of its release later this year. Mitrasphere pre-registrations opened in early May, meaning it has taken just over a month to hit the milestone. Rewards have already been accumulating for goals as little as 5,000 registrations, leading to stacks of them now being confirmed for the game's launch.
What is Mitrasphere?
Mitrasphere is a 2D anime gatcha game for iOS/Android. In it, players recruit characters like Xenon, Blossom, and Hildegard, amassing a team of their favorites to fight monsters. Each character can freely change to each of the game's five classes on command.
Once instigated, battles take place in real-time, with ability prompts, buttons, and resource management needed to deal heavy damage and support the team in their search for legendary weapons. Battles can be undertaken in co-op play as well.
Mitrasphere launched in Japan in 2017, amassing 8 million downloads over time. Though that may make it sound like an old game, it simply means players will have four-five years of content to look forward to.
Mitrasphere Pre-Registration Rewards
Now that it has reached 100,000 pre-registrations, anyone who plays Mitrasphere at launch or shortly thereafter will receive the cumulative goodies below:
- 3050 Sea Crystals
- Special Free 10-Pull (Guaranteed one four-star weapon)
When is the Mitrasphere Release Date?
Though there's no solid Mitrasphere release date just yet, a listing on the Apple App Store suggests it could be as soon as mid-July.
A 2021 release is basically guaranteed, but right now, the game's social media channels have not given a precise launch date, so take any rumors or speculation with a grain of salt.
