Call of Duty Mobile continues to prove popular with those wanting to get their fix of fast-paced action. With various weapons and maps from the majority of annual releases alongside a battle royale experience, many believe the game is the most complete Call of Duty title to release. With Season 7 coming to a close, all eyes are on COD Mobile Season 8.

Known as Train to Nowhere, the upcoming season of content features a new map alongside two new additions to the weapon arsenal that can dominate at long distances as well as in close-quarters combat.

When does COD Mobile Season 8 start?

Season 8 gets underway on September 8 at 1AM BST. Although it's an early start for UK players, those in North America will have plenty of time to see what the Train to Nowhere update has to offer before Europe wakes up later in the day.

Just like the start of any new COD Mobile season, players can work their way through a brand-new battle pass packed with content ranging from weapon blueprints, Operator skins, and much more.

The battle pass includes the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle in addition to the new Igniter BR class capable of dealing incredible damage during matches.

COD Mobile Season 8 weapons

As mentioned above, Season 8 will see the addition of the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle from Black Ops Cold War alongside the Butterfly Knife melee weapon.

The first map to make its way into the game as part of the Train to Nowhere update is Express from Black Ops 2. The futuristic train station features three distinct lanes with opportunities to make an impact with long-range weaponry or guns that dominate in close-quarters scenarios.

COD Mobile Operation Spy Hunt event

The Operation Spy Hunt event sees players embark on a mission to earn a range of exclusive rewards. Spanning across multiplayer and battle royale, there are a variety of challenges to complete.

For battle royale, players must eliminate specific opponents over the course of a match to earn clues.

Informants will also help you complete the objectives so use them wisely in order to gain the upper hand.

COD Mobile Season 8 challenges

A new set of Seasonal Challenges gives players another chance to get their hands on some awesome cosmetic items. Alongside the items, you can unlock the new Spycraft perk and Butterfly Knife.

In addition to the content, there's also 30,000 battle pass XP up for grabs.
