No Man's Sky Teases New "Frontiers" Update For 5th Anniversary


No Man's Sky remains one of gaming's biggest redemption stories. Launched five years ago today on August 9th, 2016, it came under heavy criticism for missing features and ultimately, wasn't the game many expected. However, Hello Games gradually pulled it backed through various updates and now, they've teased a new one.

Calling this "Frontiers", Hello Games released a 5th anniversary teaser trailer that takes us through No Man's Sky. Between base-building, multiplayer, VR compatibility, next-gen editions, player hubs, improved visuals and so much more, this video gives us a glimpse at what came beforehand.

No Man's Sky Teases New "Frontiers" Update For 5th Anniversary

Evidently, Hello Games aren't finished. Despite that huge list of major updates preceding it, Frontiers comes as another free update to No Man's Sky. However, we don't know much about it just yet.

All we've seen so far is a logo reveal, confirmation that its "coming soon" to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and VR platforms, alongside some music. We'll keep you updated as soon as we discover more.
