WarioWare: Get It Together! has topped this week's UK boxed charts, having launched just three days ago on Switch. As reported by GI.biz, WarioWare has been one of this year's weaker Switch launches, so while we don't have exact figures, we know physical sales were less than Miitopia, which released in May.
That said, it did enough to "narrowly" push Bandai Namco's Tales of Arise into 2nd place, also launched on September 10th. Between Arise's platforms, GI.Biz report that PS5 took 58% of sales, PS4 took 28%, Xbox Series took 13%, while PC only nabbed 1%. Reportedly, Arise sold more than double the numbers Scarlet Nexus took in last June.
WarioWare: Get It Together! Tops The Latest UK Games Charts
Rounding out the top 3 was NBA 2K22, the latest entry in 2K's annual basketball series. That took 46% sales on PS5, 27% on PS4, 23% across Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, while Switch saw just 2% of sales. It's a more exciting line-up than last week, which saw evergreen games like Minecraft (Switch), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Grand Theft Auto V respectively make up the top 3.
While Mario Kart and Minecraft still took 4th and 5th respectively, Life is Strange: True Colors also secured 6th. Rounding out the top 10 (in order) is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, F1 2021, Grand Theft Auto V, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Digital data is expected on Thursday, so these standings will likely change.
