Rumours Suggest Nintendo Switch Pro Can Hit 120FPS Docked, Comes With DLSS Support

There's been no end of predictions about a "Nintendo Switch Pro" console this last year. With retail listings appearing, talk of dock changes and even a potential release window, we've now had a new report about it's alleged specifications, but this one is a little more fanciful.

As reported on the ResetERA forums, a new rumour has emerged from Taiwan, stating that the Switch Pro could push up to 120fps at 720p in handheld mode. Allegedly, the GPU will clock in at almost 1GHz in docked, 768MHz in handheld, and docked mode will also be optimised for 1440p resolution.

Furthermore, this leaker states that reportedly, Switch Pro will also include NVIDIA DLSS technology, though it may only be available in Docked Mode. There's a lot of promising sounding inclusions here, so like with any rumour, we'd suggest taking this with a grain of salt.

Elsewhere, Nintendo's finally revealed their broad E3 2021 plans. Without naming specific games that'll appear, their presentation will run for 40 minutes, focusing "mostly" on games releasing in 2021. We've got exactly one week to go, so we're hoping to finally learn more about this mid-generation upgrade.
