Nintendo Direct always brings a few surprises, though we weren't banking on a Wii Sports successor. Called Nintendo Switch Sports, that'll launch this Spring with Tennis, Bowling, Chambara, Soccer, Badminton and Volleyball.
Launching on April 29, 2022, that offers online multiplayer, and Nintendo is looking to make sure everything's up to standard before launch. Just be aware, this will not work on Nintendo Switch Lite.
So, if anyone looking to dive into Nintendo Switch Sports sooner, you can do so through an Online play test later on this February. If you're hoping to join in for that, here's everything we've been told.
How to Play The Nintendo Switch Sports: Online Play Test
Registration for the Nintendo Switch Sports Play Test has opened up through the official website. However, to sign up, you'll need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, though trial membership is also accepted.
