Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl: New DLC Characters & Game Modes Post Launch, Says Ludocity CEO

Ludocity CEO Joel Nyström has recently revealed in an interview about the future of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. The CEO has laid down the developer's plans for the game and even dropped the game's official release date on October. Here's what we know about the interview.

Post Launch Character Plans

According to the Ludocity CEO's answers to Gameinformer in an interview, the initial roster is confirmed to have 20 characters on release and will have two more characters on release. The developers are also looking forward to add more characters after that. Characters from other popular Nickelodeon cartoons such as The Fairly Oddparents and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius have yet to show up.


The developers are open to add live action characters from Nickelodeon. Some fans are looking forward to see characters from shows like Drake & Josh, Legends Of The Hidden Temple, Double Dare 3000, iCarly, Blues Clues, and Lazy Town. We'll have to wait if the developers will take this direction and secure the rights to make some of these characters.

Game Modes and Updates Moving Forward

As Ludocity has made another platform fighter before, the developers are planning to implement the Sports Ball mode from Slap City in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Aside from this special mode, an assortment of versus modes will also be available on the game's multiplayer modes to enjoy with other players.


As for balancing, the developers are also looking forward to make the game enjoyable for both its casual and competitive audience. The developers will also look forward in how the competitive meta grows in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and will adjust the game accordingly to it.

When Is the Game's Release Date

Finally, Ludocity's CEO also confirmed that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's release date is this coming October 5. Before that, the developers are already releasing new teasers, moveset reveals, and gameplay breakdowns fast for the known cast of the game. We'll just have to wait for at least two weeks to know what else we're getting for this fighting game before its release.
