New World Twitch Drops Available During Gamescom Opening Night Live Broadcast

The Verdant Trapper skin is the second Twitch drop skin Amazon Games has given to players, after handing out the Golden Rage skin during the closed beta of New World at the end of July.

If you enabled drops to receive this first skin your account will be all ready to receive the Verdant Trapper skin.

The closed beta was a huge success for the company which recorded a max of 200,000 concurrent players and was the 6th most popular game on steam, an impressive performance for any beta test.

The beta was so much of a success that it was what ultimately caused the game to be delayed a month, so the developers could ensure all the community feedback was addressed before the full release of the game.

New Worlds' new release date is the 28th of September and is available to pre-order now on Steam.
