NBA 2K22 was released globally this week, giving fans the most immersive and in-depth NBA experience yet.
2K22 was launched on both last-gen and next-gen platforms but, it seems like certain players are unable to get past the main menu of the game. If you're having trouble, we'll go through a simple fix that addresses this problem.
NBA 2K22: How To Fix Crashing Issues On Xbox Series X|S
Some fans are having trouble booting NBA 2K22 up, with the application immediately closing before starting a game. It seems as though the obstacle is only occurring for Xbox Series X and S players.
The source of the dispute seems to be rooted in 2K22's menu, which is seemingly making the game crash and in turn, closing the game.
To work around the issue, players have found this quick fix to work:
- Start NBA 2K22
- Select 'My Career' from the main menu of the game
- Continuously spam and press the 'up' button on the D-Pad.
This reportedly stops the menu from loading further and takes players directly to the Park Arena. Afterwards, the rest of the game will function as normal.
Status On Patches
Developer, Visual Concepts has yet to acknowledge the problem. Because of this, no official patch has been planned for release. We will update you on any progress.
