Let's start with Temulch. They are described as a fearsome warrior, nicknamed the Grey Wolf. He has ancestral legends burned into his mind, and has an inner power that can unleash furious gales.

Skills

Zephyr Wind: Temulch jumps into the air and summons three wisp wards. These wards can block projectiles as long as they are not explosives. You can launch Wisps by pressing G, and they will automatically home in on your opponents. Once they hit, a whirlwind forms around the enemy, keeping them in place.

Ultimate

Zephyr Prison: A cube of energy forms around Temulch and nearby enemies, trapping them inside. Projectiles are blocked and enemies will be knocked back. Other Temulch players will be slowed by crossing the barriers. This lasts for 15 seconds. You can either add Enchanted or Summon to the Ultimate. the former grants Temulch an increased recovery rate, but reduces the duration of Zephyr Prison to 12 seconds. The latter allows Zephyr Wisps to spawn while inside the prison. These last for 12 seconds each.

Viper Ning

Now onto Viper Ning. She's described as the Crimson Viper, wielding a large blade and empowered by poisoned blood. Viper can limit enemy healing and lock skills and Ultimates.

Skills

Yushan Enigma: Focus energy and then release it as a powerful blast attack that damages enemies and knocks them back. This attack can interrupt blue focus, and can be tweaked with either Lockdown or Enfeeble. Lockdown prevents opponents from using skills or Ultimates. The downside here is that doing so will make a foe's focus uninterruptable for 8 seconds. Enfeeble locks healing abilities instead, and also makes focus uninterruptable for 15 seconds.

Ultimate

Twilight Crimson: Enemies that are visible are marked and then stunned. There is a wind-up on this attack and during it Viper Ning cannot attack. Enemies are stunned for 5 seconds, making them open to attacks. There are two variations on this attack. The first is called Seal, which locks enemy skills and Ultimates during the summoning wind-up for Twilight Crimson. Enemies are then locked for 2 seconds instead of 5. Unchained allows Viper Ning to move around during the summoning, and locks the skills and Ultimates for opponents visible to her. The downside here is that opponents will not be stunned after the attack ends.

Tarka Ji

Tarka Ji is known as the Drunken Brave, with a passion for drinking and freedom. He wields a huge sword which he uses to face down all enemies, no matter the challenge.

Skills

Inner Fire: Enter a defensive state where melee attacks are blocked. Attacking just as an incoming melee attack is blocked will trigger a powerful counterattack. This stance lasts for 3 seconds, and has two variations. Bide also blocks non-explosive projectiles, and the power of successive counterattacks increases with each one. Blocking three attacks will automatically trigger a counterattack. Gigaflame, on the other hand, launches a huge fire attack. This deals damage to enemies and knocks them back.

Ultimate

Blackout: Flame covers Tarka Ji, allowing him to knock back enemies and increasing movement speed. Consumes Rage while in use and blocks all incoming non-explosive projectiles while sprinting. There are two variations starting with Vulcan: consumes energy instead of Rage, and cannot be triggered while under attack. Frenzy increases attack power but depletes Rage at a faster rate. Rage can be refilled by dealing damage.

Matari

Matari reaches out to her bird companion.

Matari is heavily tied to the eagle, using its power to stay agile and hidden. She's an assassin of sorts, roaming around ruins and waiting for her next target.

Skills

Silent Flutter: Teleport in any direction. Rapid Flash grants to charges instead of one, but locks the distance for each move. Retrace Flash: Place a teleport marker on the ground that can be warped to by pressing G.

Ultimate

Unseen Wings: A stealth mode that renders Matari invisible while standing still. She's mostly hidden when moving, only given away by a slight outline. While in stealth mode, the cooldown for Silent Flutter is greatly reduced. This lasts for 25 seconds in the base mode. Assassin increases damage dealt while wallrunning and in other states of movement. Stealth mode only last 20 seconds with this enabled. Group Stealth will trigger stealth mode for teammates within a certain radius around Matari. Duration is reduced to 12 seconds.

Kurumi

Kurumi leverages her Onmyodo skills to defeat her foes, earning her the nickname of Flower of Helioth.

Skills

Ward: Heals Kurumi and a nearby teammate. This links the two characters together for a total of 30 seconds, and can be activated towards teammates that are within a 30m radius. While linked to another teammate, Kurumi cannot attack, instead teleporting to the linked player. Once in range, she knocks back nearby enemies, and heals her and her teammate. This closes the link. Resurrection will revive fallen teammates, as long as their bodies are within a 20m radius. Dual Heal increases the link duration to 90 seconds, but hitting right click won't heal before closing the link.

Ultimate

Sacred Circle: A healing circle is placed that removes all debuffs and heals. This lasts 15 seconds. Armor Enhance restores armour instead, while Rapid Healing instantly heals all teammates.

Tianhai

Tianhai sprints, leaving mud and a red aura behind them.
expand image

Tianhai is hellbent on one thing: saving the world. He'll sacrifice himself to do this, travelling the land in search of ways to fulfil his duty. He can transform into a huge Varja Warrior, spewing flame at all who stand in his path.

Skills

Divine Bell: Protects against all physical attacks and reflects projectiles back at enemies. Counter will disarm enemies that attack with Blue Focus. Blast knocks back enemies within a certain radius.

Ultimate

Titan's Call: Transforms Tianhai into a huge Varja Warrior. Can grab enemies and smash them into the ground. Shock wave slams can be triggered, disabling enemy grapple hooks. Lasts 40 seconds. If you stomp while holding an enemy, some health is granted, and selecting the Guard variant will allow Varja to grab teammates. This will heal them in the process, but reduces skill duration to 35 seconds.
