July 27, 2022: MultiVersus has not arrived on Nintendo Switch but a huge launch means it seems more likely

Warner Bros' Multiversus is in finally here in a beta test phase, so we can finally battle it out as Batman and Jake the Dog. We expect some big updates down the line, including the possibility of new platforms. This begs the question, is Multiversus on Switch?

There's a roster of 16 playable chracters, some for free and some are paid for - including a new and original character Reindog alongside favourites like Wonder Woman and Bugs Bunny. Each has new skins available, and there's animations, emotes, and banners to show your style with.

Is Multiversus On Switch?

As of July 21, the game is only on its Beta phase, and is on a few platforms. This does not include the Nintendo Switch.

Will There Be A Nintendo Switch Multiversus Version?

It is unfortunately quite unlikely that there will be a Nintendo Switch version of Multiversus, at least for the foreseeable future. Allegedly, Developers do not plan on bringing the game to Switch, while they focus on its release across other platforms to begin with.

What Platforms Is Multiversus On?

While we eagerly await any confirmation on whether there will be a Nintendo Switch port of the game, we can enjoy it elsewhere for now.

The good news is that Multiversus is available on many platforms already. These are:

  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 4
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox Series X/S
  • Microsoft Windows (Steam)

If you're a fan of free-to-play games, we recommend Genshin Impact and Pokémon Unite, or Fortnite. If fighting games are more your thing, then why not try Project Slayers?
