Monster Hunter Rise’s PC Edition Has Content Parity With Switch at Launch

If you're looking to dive into Monster Hunter Rise's PC release on Steam, then we've got good news. According to Capcom, that'll share the same update as its Nintendo Switch version. As such, PC players can enjoy all the non-exclusive content available to Monster Hunter Rise.

As seen on the Monster Hunter Twitter, Capcom revealed the PC version will launch as Version 3.6.1, which the Nintendo Switch is currently running. Steam players will have to wait until January 12, 2022 to enjoy this game.

Detailing this further, Capcom outlined that every monster, collaboration event, quest and other content will be available immediately on the PC version. Crossover events for Sonic The Hedgehog, Street Fighter and more are also included. That's all before they launch the upcoming Sunbreak expansion in Summer 2022.

Previously, Monster Hunter World's PC release had a content gap from its PS4 version. PC players had to wait months and enjoy event re-releases on their end before its content could catch up to the console version. With this announcement for Rise, PC players will not have this content problem again.
