Monster Hunter World Reaches 17.3 Million Sales, Rise At 7.3 Million


Monster Hunter easily became one of Capcom's biggest sellers these last few years. Though it always had a following, Monster Hunter: World became Capcom's best-selling games of all-time and now, they've offered us revised sales numbers for World and its expansion, Iceborne.

Previously reported at 17.1 million units for World and 7.7 million for Iceborne back in March 2021, both have seen a small increase. According to Capcom's Platinum list - which details every game that's sold over 1 million copies - World's up to 17.3 million, while Iceborne's taken 8.2 million.

That's not all for the series either. Monster Hunter Rise, which had previously sold 7 million copies worldwide, now sits at 7.3 million units sold, a number bound to increase when it launches for PC next year.

As for the most recent release, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, there's no change yet from the previous announcement that it'd sold 1 million copies. There's some impressive numbers here and as always, we'll keep you informed when we learn more.
