Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin Is Getting Three New Amiibo


It's strange to think that these days, Capcom's giving more love to amiibo than Nintendo themselves. While The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD's getting a Loftwing amiibo, Capcom's just revealed that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is getting three new figures too.

Announced as part of today's Monster Hunter Digital Event, they revealed amiibo based around Ena, Razewing Ratha and Tsukino. It's unclear whether these will release alongside Stories 2, which arrives on July 9, but Capcom's given no indication otherwise.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin Is Getting Three New Amiibo

It follows on from the original Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS, which launched with six different amiibo, though that range was sadly exclusive to Japan. Monster Hunter Rise had three of its own too back in March, which focused on Magnamalo, Palamute and Palico.

Elsewhere, Capcom also gave us a brand new look at Stories 2 through a new trailer, detailing new gameplay mechanics, a deluxe edition, and more.
