Monster Hunter Rise: Can You Turn Off the Timer at End of Quests?

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the end of quest timer in Monster Hunter Rise. This is a feature that has been a part of the series for a while, and one that Capcom seems hesitant to change.

It’s likely due to the multiplayer aspect of Rise, and preventing players from having to stick around if one person in the party chooses to stay. If you need more time to gather resources, consider heading out on an expedition. We recommend heading straight for any valuable monster parts once the timer starts, so that you don’t miss anything needed for armour upgrades.

Return to Camp

After a quest, you will return to camp by default. You'll get the option to change this to HQ if you want. We'd recommend going back to camp as it's faster to start quests there. This makes it faster if you're farming resources.
