Monster Hunter Rise Ships Over Seven Million Copies, Free Rewards Incoming


Monster Hunter: Rise has shipped over seven million units since launching in late March, Capcom has announced.

The Nintendo Switch exclusive, which will come to PC at a later date, shipped four million copies in its opening week, and has continued to sell well, reaching six million units last month.

In celebration of the milestone, Capcom is offering a free celebration pack of in-game items, available via Senri the Mailman.

Earlier this week, Capcom held another Monster Hunter Digital event, revealing new information about Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and Rise's 3.0 update, as well as a look further ahead with a 2021 roadmap.

As part of the 3.0 update (free to download now), players will unlock a new ending for the campaign, new quests, and two new monsters to hunt - Crimson Glow Valstrax, and Apex Zinogre.
