Monster Hunter World: Assassin's Creed Crossover Content Leaves Next Month

Capcom's confirmed that the Assassin's Creed Collaboration event in Monster Hunter World will no longer be available after December 2021. As such, players are about to lose their only way to get exclusive loot from the Ubisoft's flagship series.

According to Monster Hunter's Twitter page, the Assassin's Creed Collaboration event quest - SDF: Silent, Deadly, and Fierce - becomes inaccessible in World after December 3, 00:00 UTC. However, players who've played the quest, earned the loot, and crafted crossover Assassin's Creed gear can keep them after this date.

In the crossover quest, players are tasked to slay monsters to earn the Senu's Feather item. This unique event quest item is a crafting material to unlock the Delivery quest to obtain the Assassin's Mantle equipment and the Bayek Layered Armor set.

This event mantle can be used during hunts to take up a similar appearance to Assassin's Creed II's Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Aside from the cosmetic change, the Assassin's Mantle hides players from the large monster's sights and deals an assured 100% Affinity hit on your next attack. However, this mantle taunts smaller creatures which make it a niche equipment to use.

Lastly, the Bayek Layered Armor can be worn over the player character's equipment to copy the appearance of Bayek from Assassin's Creed Origins. This equipment set is purely cosmetic and doesn't grant any stats to the player when worn. Players have a whole month of November to catch up on this loot. To activate this quest, you need to be at Hunter Rank 14.
