Mystery Activision Game Appears On PlayStation Database, Prompting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered Speculation


Out of all the various Call of Duty sub-series, Modern Warfare arguably gets the most love from fans, and Activision knows it. Alongside the 2019 reboot, we first received Modern Warfare Remastered in 2016, followed by Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered three years later.

Now, it might finally be the third entry's turn. As spotted by Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, a mysterious listing has just emerged on the PlayStation database from Activision. Coming in at 43.9GB, it's listed under the name "We Love Dogs!", with a +17 age rating.

While not much to go on alone, it was reported last year by TheGamingRevolution that Activision has already finished this remaster and are simply waiting for the right moment to release it. Considering Modern Warfare 2 Remastered leaked a year before arriving, that theory is certainly plausible.

While agreeing it could be MW3 Remastered, Call of Duty fan site Modern Warzone also speculated this could be an early build of COD 2021, rumoured to be titled Vanguard. There's no way of knowing without an official confirmation, but whatever this game is, we'll keep you updated when we learn more.
