Millenium Secure Their First BO3 Championship

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 competitive season kicked off in dramatic style over the weekend, as Millenium secured their first championship on BO3.

The newly formed all-star roster, consisting of Tom "Tommey" Trewen , Callum "Swanny" Swan, Dylan "MadCat" Daly and Jordan "Jurd" Crowley, were clear favourites heading into Am2Pro Peterborough. However, a shock 0-3 thrashing at the hands of Team Infused in the Winners Bracket Final saw their championship hopes falter, as they dropped into the Losers Bracket.

In true dramatic fashion, Millenium maintained their composure and desire, as they fought their way back into the Grand Final and consequently snatched the silverware from the grasp of Team Infused, who lost back to back best-of-five series’.

Although Millenium’s victory may not have been as ideal as expected, the organisation will be delighted with the tenacity and composure shown by squad, who secured their first championship just days after signing their contracts following their forced departure from Team Vitality, due to CWL restrictions.

Team Captain Tommey said via Instagram;

“Managed to do the comeback from the LB to win A2P and take home the first BO3 event. Big shout out to my team today, it was one hell of a long one and nobody lost focus. Now time to put all our attention and energy into the weekend coming up for the CWL - Thank you for all the support, it's greatly appreciated as always!”

If Millenium managed to win last weekend’s tournament with limited preparations and managing an organisation switch, imagine what they will be link in future tournaments once they settle down and practice without interruption.
