Killhouse Map Modern Warfare Guide

After seemingly putting an end to any form of brand-new content arriving in the 2019 reboot of Modern Warfare, developer Infinity Ward has surprised everyone by adding a classic map into the rotation.

Killhouse first appeared in Call of Duty 4 and is famed for its fast and frenetic action that takes place within the SAS training facility.

The map has reportedly been within the files of the game since Season 5 of Modern Warfare alongside other maps and weapons that have yet to be released.

As one of the smaller maps in the Modern Warfare map pool, it's important to learn every single area of the map in order to get the upper hand over the opposition.

Map Design

The map design is exactly the same as the one that featured all the way back in CoD4. The only open space is around the watchtower situated in the middle of the map while several small buildings and walls make up the surrounding area.

The lack of cover in the central area makes accessing the watchtower extremely difficult but once inside, it's very easy to pick off enemies regardless of their location.

With so many corners created by the walls and small buildings, it can be easy to be caught out by players patiently waiting for someone to stray into their crosshairs.

aroundThe key to success is often by sprinting around the map as quickly as possible in order to deal with any passive opponents who don't stand a chance if you come flying round a corner armed with an Uzi.

Tips And Tricks

1) Patrol The Edges

The majority of players manage to make audacious flanks to the opposite side of the map by sneaking in and out of the walls and buildings.

To prevent a spawn flip and to score plenty of kills, keep control of the outer edges of the map to take out any targets attempting to get behind enemy lines.

Be sure to equip a shotgun or a rapid-fire SMG to deal with any resistance as fast as possible.

2) The Watchtower

Players are often seen attempting to climb the ladder all the way to the top of the watchtower because it's arguably the strongest position to hold during a Killhouse match.

With unmatched sightlines of the entire map, dealing with any opponents in a mid-range gunfight is incredibly easy.

If you do manage to climb the ladder, always be aware of any enemy attempting to gain control of the tower for themselves!

3) Slow And Steady

Playing slowly in a Killhouse match does seem counter-productive due to the fast pace of the action but a little bit of patience can pay off.

Towards the rear of both sides of the map are two small buildings which provide crystal-clear lines of sight from one end of the map to the other.

Posting up on the rooftop with an LMG or a sniper rifle is a sure-fire method to score a huge number of kills without getting drawn into the heat of the action.

Best Weapons

After a few matches testing out a range of weapons, here are some that we recommend using on Killhouse.
