CounterLogic Gaming move into Call of Duty eSports

CounterLogic Gaming have made their first foray into Call of Duty eSports, acquiring Anthony "Methodz" Zinni, Mike "Blfire" Glushenok, Tyler "FeLonY" Johnson and Aaron "CMPLX" Vetelino from Denial eSports.

Known for their tenure in the League of Legends community, CLG recently picked up Paul "SnakeBite" Duarte, Matthew "Royal2" Fiorante, Tom "Ogre 2" Ryan and Scottie "Cloud" Holste to represent the organisation in the Halo Championship Series, and now they seem to have their eyes firmly set on success in the CoD World League, which kicks off this weekend.

The team of Methodz, Blfire, FeLonY and CMPLX joined Denial just a few months ago, however, they look set on the move already, without actually competing in the white and orange stripes of the Wolfpack.

There is some serious talent in this squad, with Blfire finishing 5th at CoD Champs earlier in the year, while Methodz burst onto the scene with his impressive talent back in Black Ops 2.

CLG stated the following in their official announcement:

"The team has been bootcamping at the CLG compound and has been working hard for the qualifiers this weekend. We are eager to see this young lineup compete in the next few days and excited to enter the well established competitive Call of Duty scene. Please give a warm welcome to the newest members of the CLG family."

Team captain, Methodz, also added:

"The team and I are super excited to be representing CLG for the 2016 season. We're beyond grateful for the opportunity and we hope to bring in some event wins for all of the CLG fans."
