Morte has arrived

Inspired by Italian Western movies, Morte is a former soldier of the Italian special force ‘1° Regiment Col. Moschin’. His real name is Sergio Sulla, whose dreams of working in law enforcement were ended by his temper and some run-ins with local bullies.

Rovazzi's likeness has been scanned using photogrammetry technology, and the man himself was very happy to be included.

“Being a character in Call of Duty has always been a secret and impossible dream of mine,” he explains, “and there are no words to describe the excitement of the opportunity to give my voice and my appearance to an operator."

"I also love the character tribute to the Italian Western tradition. When I think that millions of players will be able to play with my character, I feel flattered and satisfied beyond imagination”.

The Italian sensation has released a YouTube video charting his appearance in the game which you can check out below.

Morte will be added to Modern Warfare and Warzone on September 8 at 6:30 PM BST, so be sure to look out for the Italian gunslinger in the in-game store.
