The teases and clues scattered across Warzone have had the whole community unravelling the mystery.

From hidden bunkers to puzzling cyphers, it's been an exciting few weeks.

It finally feels as if we're coming to the conclusion of the mystery with the reveal date set.

However, according to sources, there are still a few surprises coming our way.

Warzone Announcers Set To Read Out Ascension Numbers

Players are speculating these numbers will be read out mid-game in Warzone.

This certainly adds weights to the theory raised by DKDynamite surrounding the rumour that the game was originally titled 'Project Zeus'.

Why is this significant? Well, there's a book called "Counsel of Zeus" that addresses what the world would have been like if John F. Kennedy had not been assassinated.

Therefore, the book presents an alternate timeline.

The question is, does this mean the next game is a reboot set to present an alternate timeline?

Of course, this is only a theory and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

However, it's certainly interesting and explains the links with the original Black Ops.

It's an exciting time to be a Call of Duty fan with so many clues and teases being released.

For now, good luck in Warzone and listen out for the Ascension numbers!
