The Call of Duty World Championships are now just a day away. 32 of the very best teams from around the world, come together, as they compete for a share of the massive $1million prize pool.

As the clock ticks ever closer to the beginning of the biggest tournament in CoD eSports, the qualified 32 teams have been throwing hundreds of Uplink Drones and finessing nade spots, as they tirelessly practice their strategies, all for the chance to be crowned World Champion.

In the final instalment of the series, we will be taking a look at Groups F, G & H of the Call of Duty World Championship, as we attempt to predict which 6 teams will triumph out of pool play.

Group H

Epsilon eSports (EU) | Madcat, Joshh, Tommey & Swanny

Team Kaliber (US) | Goonjar, Theory, Loony & Sharp

Strictly Business Gaming (US) | Phizzurp, John, Dedo & Neslo

Integral Nation (AUS) | Bundo, Vilesyder, Hoju & Quinz

Seen by many within the community as “the group of death”, Group H is an extremely difficult pool to predict, due to the sheer amount of talent possessed by each team. Heading into the tournament as European Champions, I’m expecting this stacked Epsilon roster to walk away with at least a top 8 finish, maybe even higher. The pure amount of slaying power from Joshh, Tommey and Madcat combined with the sublime AR skill of Swanny, makes this team my number one pick to escape the clutches of the group of death.

The second spot in this group is an entirely different matter. Team Kaliber are my pick to make it into the final 16, but much like any other sport, anything can happen. Strictly Business are renowned for their unorthodox S&D strategies, and with a shot at $400k on the line, they are bound to come into play.

For me, Integral Nation are the wildcard of the group. Having seen them compete at the APAC Regional Final, they certainly have the potential to catch some of these teams off guard. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised at all if the second qualification place is determined through a tie-break, as ultimately, each of these four teams possesses the ability to defeat one another. Only time will if my predictions are correct.

Epsilon eSports 3-2 Team Kaliber

Epsilon eSports 3-1 Strictly Business Gaming

Epsilon eSports 3-1 Integral Nation

Team Kaliber 3-1 Strictly Business Gaming

Team Kaliber 3-1 Integral Nation

Team Kaliber 2-3 Epsilon eSports
