Mobile Legends Alucard Abilities

All of Alucard's active abilities are on low cooldowns, which makes for great burst damage for surprise attacks as well as superb sustain in longer bouts. But it's Alucard’s passive ability that you'll want to keep in mind most of all. It can be an absolute game-changer during crucial moments in team fights.

Additionally, his abilities can take a fair bit of time to understand and execute to perfection. Thus, it is highly advised that you spend some time in a custom room to figure out the hero’s movements before jumping into a multiplayer match. It's just common courtesy for your future teammates. Having said that, let’s take a deeper look at Alucard’s abilities.

Passive Ability – Pursuit

Arguably the strongest ability that Alucard has, Pursuit allows the hero to jump to an enemy unit after he cast an ability. Additionally, the first basic attack after reaching the respective enemy unit is amplified by 20%. This passive ability also grants 50% more damage to Alucard’s spells if they hit on a single target.

Pursuit also grants 50% of Alucard’s physical lifesteal as spell vamp for his active abilities, thus granting the hero even more lifesteal for sustaining in team fights.

First Ability – Groundsplitter

You can use Alucard’s Groundsplitter ability to jump towards a target location while executing a slash with his sword. The ability deals massive physical damage to all enemies caught in the vicinity. However, you should note that the enemy can cancel Groundsplitter with any root or immobilizing ability, and without a way to easily retreat, make sure you know your next move if you're about to use this.

Second Ability – Whirling Smash

Whirling Smash has Alucard swing his sword in a circular area, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies. Given that the ability features a low cooldown of five seconds at all levels, spamming this in team fights is extremely essential for Alucard’s Lifesteal survival techniques.

Ultimate Ability – Fission Wave

Alucard can activate his ultimate ability Fission Wave in the middle of a team fight to absorb energy from all nearby enemies. Absorbing this energy not only slows the enemy units by 40% for a duration of 4 seconds but also grants massively boosted lifesteal to help the hero survive.

Additionally, Alucard can re-cast his ultimate after activating it to fire a shockwave in a specified direction. The shockwave deals a massive burst of physical damage to all enemies caught in its path.

Mobile Legends Alucard Ability Progression

Apart from obviously taking a point in your ultimate at levels four, eight, and 12 respectively, the best ability progression path for this Mobile Legends Alucard build means maxing out Whirling Smash and putting as few points in Groundsplitter as possible. This build will allow you to deal more damage in team fights while also being able to more easily farm lane and jungle creeps.

However, if there's an enemy snowball effect happening early in the game, you can consider maxing out your first skill first in order to run away from a powerful enemy that's jam-packed with gap closers.

Alucard's lifesteal strategy makes him shine in group battles, but if he's preyed upon by a single snowballing hero early on, he'll have little chance to reap the HP he needs to survive. In this case, upgrading Groundsplitter first will keep his retreat options open, which might just help him catch up to a particularly powerful opponent in terms of equipment and strength.

Mobile Legends Alucard Emblem

While you can have a Mobile Legends Alucard build that focuses on his strengths as a farming Assassin, the hero really comes into his element when played as a damage-dealing Fighter. It's why the Fighter emblem is suggested for this Mobile Legends Alucard build. Paired with the 'Festival of Blood' perk activated, Alucard's spell vamp will be boosted further, augmenting his already high lifesteal.

The bonus lifesteal will not only allow Alucard to heal himself massively and stay alive for longer durations in team fights, but also deal huge bursts of damage to the enemy heroes. In the case of a character like him, the more damage he deals, the more he heals himself. It's a dangerous cycle for the enemy team to enable.

Mobile Legends Alucard Spells

Another part of what makes a great Mobile Legends Alucard build is the right Spells for the job. Let’s dive in and take a look at which spell is ideal for Alucard in which scenario.

Spell
Why is it good?
Retribution
Ideal for amplifying Alucard's farming speed by continuously clearing out the jungles rapidly
Inspire
Highly effective for Alucard when used to boost his attack speed in the middle of team fights.
Flicker
Be it to catch an escaping enemy or to flee from an unfavorable gank, Flicker is definitely one of the best and most dependable spells for Alucard
Arrival
The ability to teleport to an allied unit is something that can change the entire outcome of a team fight making it extremely useful for Alucard in every game

Mobile Legends Alucard Item Build

Considering that Mobile Legends is a MOBA, there is no fixed item path for any hero in the game. The itemization for a specific hero depends entirely upon the progression of the game. Nevertheless, there are a few items that are bound to help the hero in almost every situation.

Some of these items for Alucard are:

Gameplay Tips for Alucard in Mobile Legends

Similar to most fighter heroes in Mobile Legends, Alucard requires a few items before he can start joining in ganks and fights. However, once the hero gets a couple of items like Endless Battle and Haas’s Claw under his belt, Alucard can not only start joining in fights but can also turn the entire course of the game.

After securing the first point in his ultimate ability, Alucard should begin searching for an easy kill on a squishy enemy hero. This allows the hero to start gaining an immense number of resources and eventually snowball the game to an early end.

Nevertheless, it is fairly important to understand which fights you should avoid and which you should engage in with Alucard. Although the hero can be played from a turtling position, he is at his strongest when he is dominating the entire map with an unmatched advantage. Needless the say, the hero can be extremely scary to face off against in a multiplayer game.

In case you find yourself facing trouble with the hero’s mechanics and passive movements, make sure to spend some time in a custom room to get used to Alucard’s performance in Mobile Legends before jumping back into a multiplayer lobby.
