Patch Notes

Patch 1.3 will introduce the event, but we don't have the full changelog just yet.

Be sure to check back as we get closer.

Event Rewards

The festival will need some help to get started, so players will need to assist various NPCs to ensure things are ready for the big day.

"The Lantern Rite event will be divided into three stages, each with a series of requests from citizens of all walks of life to help them and their loved ones get ready for the Lantern Rite", the PlayStation blog explains.

"Complete requests to raise the Festive Fever level and unlock further quests and stories."

There will be festival-exclusive games to play at the street vendors, daily events to complete, and more.

But what of the rewards?

Players can earn over 1,600 Primogems and 10 Intertwined Fate during the event, as well as the possibility of a four-star Liyue character that players can choose themselves.

Start Date

The update will drop on February 3, kicking off the Lantern Rite festival.
