The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered next-gen update is live, and we’ve got some direct comparison footage showing off exactly what you get for your trouble.

As you’d expect, the Tony Hawk Remastered next-gen upgrade includes upgrades to framerates and resolution, along with a few other enhancements

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Tony Hawk next-gen upgrade includes 4K support at 60fps, while that’s capped at 1080p and 120fps for Xbox Series S owners.

Naturally, PS5 and XSX players can opt for lower resolution and higher framerate as well if they prefer.

It’s the standard next-gen upgrade, in other words, but it’s also hard to overstate just how much better it makes the game.

So we won’t overstate it.

If you bought the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can upgrade at no additional cost. 

Otherwise, you’ll need to pay about £7.25 ($10) for the Tony Hawk Remastered Cross-Gen Digital Deluxe Bundle, though you do get an extra skater and outfit for it.

Either way, we highly recommend playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater Remastered and said it proved “the Birdman is back to his virtual best."

And that was before the next-gen upgrade.
