Hogwarts Legacy Multiplayer Rumours

So far we don't have a lot to go off of in terms of gameplay.

We've seen a trailer and an official announcement but that's about it.

Prospective players have been speculating what we might see from the new game in terms of multiplayer.

The current guess is that we'll get to fight it out in dungeons with other players.

This seems unlikely due to the official Hogwarts Legacy FAQ.

"Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world, single-player, action role-playing videogame (RPG) set in the 1800s wizarding world. The story has players experiencing life as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry like never before, as they live the unwritten and embark on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world."

As you can see in the first few words, it looks to be purely single-player at the moment.

There's no stopping the devs bringing in a co-op dungeon aspect later in the game for those who have completed the main content.

It would actually likely be a welcomed addition!

For now, it seems Hogwarts Legacy will be purely single-player.

We'll keep you updated if we hear anything more!
