How to craft potions in Hogwarts Legacy
There's no way to begin crafting potions as soon as you arrive at Hogwarts. After a few hours of playing, you'll attend your very first potions class shortly after a Herbology lesson. During the lesson, you'll learn how to crush ingredients, add the right leaves, and how to stir the cauldron.
To start crafting potions, the first thing you'll need to find is a Potions Station. There are a few scattered across the map or you can head to the potions classroom. Before making your way to a station or the classroom, it's worth noting you'll need all of the ingredients so make sure you don't arrive empty-handed.
After you've unlocked it, you'll also be able to craft potions from a Potions Station in the Room of Requirement.
Where to find Hogwarts Legacy potion ingredients
Potion ingredients are found all over Hogwarts Legacy. You can find them in chests, obtain them from plants, or decide to grow them in the Herbology classroom.
If you don't fancy spending even more time in the classroom, you can visit the potion shop in Hogsmeade and spend some coins to get your hands on the ingredients you need to create the potion you want.
