How To Play Story Mode in Melty Blood Type Lumina

To play Story Mode, you'll just need to select Single Play from the main menu. From here, select the character you want to play as in Story Mode, and then you'll be introduced to the available game modes, including Time Attack and Mission. Select Story and the difficulty you want, and then you'll see the Arcade modes you can choose from.

Melty Blood Type Lumina Story Mode - Character Stories

You can view Melty Blood Type Lumina's story from every character's perspective starting from Arcueid Brunestud up to the guest character from Fate/Stay Night, Saber. The Story mode will run the player through a series of fights, and there's a short, unique cutscene when they meet a specific character in the run.

Clearing Story mode unlocks the character's special ending, which you can view again in the gallery.

Melty Blood Type Lumina Boss Rush Mode

After unlocking all of the story mode endings in the game, you'll unlock the Boss Rush mode. This mode's story follows Miyako Arima in a new scenario where she'll meet all of the characters of Melty Blood Type Lumina with a unique spin to the story.

You'll need to learn how to play Miyako Arima to progress in this mode, as the opponents are quite tough. It's good practice, though, especially with new characters and challenges on the horizon.
