Goichi "Suda51" Suda, best known for irreverent titles like Killer 7, Lollipop Chainsaw, and the No More Heroes series - has been in discussions with Marvel about potential video games. Speaking recently in an interview, Grasshopper Manufacture's CEO was open about wanting to work with the comic giants.

Speaking to Japanese publication Automaton (translated by VGC), the No More Heroes creator revealed his talks with Marvel about working together on a video game. It's an interesting follow-up to last August, when Suda51 told IGN Japan that he'd love to develop video games about Deadpool, Quicksilver, Shatterstar, or Venom.

However, despite these talks with Marvel, Suda51 admitted that Grasshopper Manufacture would still continue making original IP, saying that they planned to launch three new games in the next 10 years.

But we’ve had a few meetings with Marvel, and we’ve talked about the possibility of working together on something. We hope that the power of video games will help to boost these opportunities.

Time will tell if anything comes from Suda51’s talks with Marvel, though he confirms games will be made "one by one," so it could be a long time before anything comes of this. In the meantime, if you're looking for a recent taste of Suda51's style, you can pick up No More Heroes 3 on Nintendo Switch.
