Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy Changes Up The Team's Individual Origins

Within this universe, there's now a massive intergalactic war that took place 12 years ago, feeding into the backstories of individual Guardians. As part of this, Drax killed Thanos during that war, while Gamora defected to help end that ongoing war.

As such, it sounds like Marvel has given Eidos Montreal freedom in how they interpret this story. We can expect further details before it launches on October 26, which arrives on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, alongside a cloud version for Nintendo Switch.
