Venom Voice Actor Teases Details About Marvel's Spider-Man 2


Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was revealed last week in the PlayStation Showcase along with other upcoming titles such as Marvel’s Wolverine and God of War: Ragnarok.

Now, we've some further news for the game. Giving us an early look at Spider-Man 2's voice cast, Venom's voice actor Tony Todd’s indicated Spider-Man 2 will be a ‘massive’ game. Confirming he's voicing Venom, Todd indicated he's known about the role for two months, calling the game is ‘massive.

Venom Voice Actor Teases Details About Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Because of that, Spider-Man 2 won’t come out until 2023. Despite being two years out, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 already hyped the fans with its first official trailer being released last week in PlayStation Showcase. You can check it out below:

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an official sequel to Insomniac Games' 2018 effort. This time though, Miles Morales will be joined by Peter Parker to take down Venom, who appears to be the main antagonist of this game, keeping the human story that they want to establish. A PlayStation Blog post says:

“Just as in our previous Spider-Man games, we not only want to tell a great Super Hero story, but also deliver a compelling human story, one full of heart and humor that dives deep into the people behind the mask.”
