Marvel’s Midnight Suns Gets Delayed, Now Launching in Second Half of 2022

Originally aiming for March 2022, no solid release date has been given, but it's expected to launch in the second half of next year. Elaborating further, Firaxis confirmed this upcoming RPG has been delayed to add extra narrative details and shine to the Marvel title.

These extra months will be used to add more story, cinematics and overall polish and will be essential in helping us make our vision a reality.

Developing games during the pandemic has been difficult for many studios, with work-from-home mandates being issued, among other publishing logistics in release windows. Midnight Suns joins a growing list of games that've recently received delays, including numerous Ubisoft titles like Rainbow Six Extraction, Prince of Persia, and The Division Heartland.

Elsewhere in the Marvel universe, Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 were announced earlier back in September, both in development by Insomniac Games for PS5. Those games are a while away, but the web-head is set to make his friendly-neighbourhood introduction this year in Marvel's Avengers.
