Paper Mario: The Origami King: All Confirmed Characters And Companions

Paper Mario is likely the most successful classic game in the Mario franchise and it's making a return!

Many are excited to see what's to come, such as which characters will return.

We expect many of them to help out in some way in terms of combat or otherwise.

Here are all the confirmed characters and partners we know of so far.

All Confirmed Partners In Paper Mario: The Origami King

In the game's trailer, we spotted the following:

• Olivia - King Olly's sister trying to stop his plans
• Bobby Bob-Omb - Bobby has lost his memory
• Kamek - Bowser's minion
• Koopa
• Folded Bowser
• Professor Toad - a professor of ancient history
• Bowser Jr
• Luigi
• Toad

The game's Chinese trailer (which has since been deleted) also clearly shows Toad as a partner in the game.

It's unclear how exactly the partners will work and play a part in this latest game. However, we can assume it will operate similar to previous instalments as there is a clear opportunity to use them during battles.

With the new Ring-Based Battle System, it's difficult to predict how partners will contribute to this.
